Vintage early 1950s day dress in a gorgeous raspberry pink taffeta with an iridescent blue sheen. It has a shirtwaist fit with short-nap black velveteen buttons. There is a snap placket at the waist and two more buttons below the waist which are mostly hidden by the pleats. 3/4 length tapered Dolman sleeves and attached shoulder pads. Side pockets with pointed cuffs. Not lined. In very good condition. It has a few pin holes at the waist and a couple lost in the drape of the skirt. There is one tear about an inch long on the lower right side a few inches above the hem. There is a little faint discoloration at the neckline/lapel which, along with the tear would likely be remedied by a dry cleaner and seamstress. All of these are shown in the last photo.
